This article is of technical notes generated in the process of exploring the multiplexing of the system software components, the focus of the target file format commonly used in the UNIX-like operating system, the ELF (the Executable and Linkable Format), the purpose is to study the operating system binary levelthe software component of the static and dynamic assembly technology. This paper first introduces the ELF file format specification, and then combined with a simple C language program, compile, the generated link relocatable, executable format instance.
