图像中汽车牌照定位的准确与否,直接关系到自动车牌识别系统的整体性能.考虑由于时间和气候光照特性不同造成车牌图片清晰度的明显差异,提出一种新的自适应动态阈值车牌定位的算法.该方法首先分析图像的清晰度,将图像的白点数固定在一个与差分均值成正比的比例值内.然后,去除离散噪声.针对车牌区域的行和列有不同的特征,用不同的方法进行车牌横向和纵向区域的精确定位,最终找到目标车牌区域.实验显示,该方法对车牌定位的准确率达到98.7 -Image vehicle license positioning accuracy is directly related to the automatic license plate recognition system s overall performance.
